Hints of black peppercorn, clove, cinnamon, baked cherry, prune, molasses; later sniffs encounter forest, leaves, black tea, dry stone. Entry is fruity with white raisins, dried pineapple, and is off-dry. midpalate is spicy, piquant, minerally, and significantly drier than the entry stage.

A rich and delicious bouquet, accented by smoky notes and aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple, citrus peel, and a touch of clove. The palate opens with a structured, pleasant sensation of ripe banana, pineapple, and spices layered in a smoky finish.

Dry, with a more floral and fruitier profile of rose water, soursop, pear, white grape, apricot and sugar-apple. Next some coconut milk, balsam, allspices, bread and nuts emerge.

Peppery and floral palate entry with hints of soft fruits, tangy juniper oil, pepper and coriander seed. Finish Long, spicy finish with berry fruits.

Pod is a truly individual, flavourful, modern vodka with sweet, vegetal pea notes, a touch of citrus, light savoury tones and a silky finish.

Toffee and vanilla fudge jump out before we dive into a bucket of singed raisins and smouldering peat bricks. Green grass and leafy notes poke out around the edges along with candied lemons and flamed orange peel. A sweet creamy hit up front leads into lemon boiled sweets. black-pepper spice and a thick layer of peaty smoke. The green edges from the nose are back, with richer notes of stewed apples and sultanas, and a touch of vanilla toffee. Menthol throat sweets and sweet smoke slowly fade to leave grilled apples and buttery pastry.

Juicy tropical fruit notes are certainly present here. Floral honey, earthy juniper and little warming citrus spice bring depth underneath.

A small amount of English sea salt is added at the end of the distillation process resulting in a subtle yet distinct flavour. It is intense, ginny, punchy, characterful, mixable and has a distinct maritime edge to it.
