Strega is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV), which is an alcohol content comparable to most hard liquors, but it has a sweetness and viscosity typical of liqueurs. Among its approximately 70 herbal ingredients are mint and fennel, giving it a complex flavor with minty and coniferous notes. Strega is considered a digestif.

Opening with floral notes of hibiscus, cubeb and rhubarb, the body develops adding herbal bitterness to the fruit and florals. It finishes with wormwood and cayenne for a long after taste.

Huge, long, warming peppery finish with an appetising sweetness.

Tanqueray Gin has a very obvious juniper flavour which comes forward in the initial delivery; yet the bitterness which so often accompanies juniper seems to be for the most part, absent. Instead, there is a soft lemony sweetness melding into that juniper flavour giving the gin an approachability.

The sugar cane based is wonderfully sweet and helps the other flavours blend beautifully the unique part of this flavour is definitely delivered by the lime and sugar combination which zings and the botanical warmth of the cloves adds a further dimension to the drink.

Tequila Rose is a Mexican cream liqueur.It is a mixture of strawberry cream liqueur and tequila. The tequila is very subtle and really only gives a spirit flavor to the liqueur. The strawberry and cream flavors are predominate and this tastes more like a strawberry milkshake than a tequila based liqueur.

Immediately noticeable uncooked runner beans, then a surge of white pepper and spices (clove, cinnamon), hints of tea and citrus, buttered new potatoes and a cream soda aroma. With time some apple and floral notes appear. Complex for a blanco.

Mellow agave, with more pronounced apple character than the blanco. Tapatio s trademark pepperiness also very much in evidence. Becomes creamy and sweet, like Milkybars. Spices, grilled peppers and a faint trace of woodsmoke as it develops.

The viscosity of the liquid is exceptional. Immediately a bouquet of herbal freshness, juniper and sweet citrus come to the fore. Allow a little time to open and the sweet, spicy and earthy notes of cassia and coriander set a base for the delicate complexity of the Islay 22.

The initial flow of ginger syrup sweetness is gently interrupted by the tingle of fresh ginger and a subtle and gentle uplift of lemon citrus. Warm, fulfilling and of great length.

Warming cinnamon and oak notes, with sweet toffee and brown sugar, and a touch of sea salt gives the rum a distinctivesalty-sweet flavour - think salted caramel or sweet-salt popcorn.

Roasted coffee with cacao and rich vanilla. Faint notes of citrus and caramel. Well-balanced.
