Pinot Grigio grapes actually become quite coloured as they ripen, hence the slightly copper (romanto) colouring of riper styles of white Pinot Grigio. The colour of grilled prawns, this perennially popular blush is elegantly scented with peachy, blossom aromas, followed by juicy, ripe, berry fruit flavours. It has a zesty acidity and a long, creamy finish. A brilliant, refreshing wine, particularly suited to summer sipping.

Fuller than Pinot Noir from Burgundy, it has a warm, rich nose with aromas of black cherry compote. The palate is nicely balanced with an exciting, savoury streak provided by ripe, tasty tannins.

A vibrant nose of plum, cherry, violet, sweet spice and dried herbs. The palate has lots of fresh fruit flavours, including sour cherry and plum with refreshing acidity. The youthful fruit combines with spice and bitter chocolate notes giving a wine of depth and personality with a firm, dry and savoury finish - great served with food, perhaps lightly chilled.

It is an intense and elegant wine, extremely pleasant, characterized by a complex bouquet in which notes of plum, liquorice, and tobacco stand out. Warm taste and great persistence at the end of the palate.

On the nose, the champagne is dominated by white flowers, green apple, brioche and a trace of minerality. On the palate there are notes of stone fruits, a certain nuttiness and a hint of honey supporting the freshness of the acidity.

Cherry plum flavours with smoked cedar and mint top notes, but as it breathes it gets meatier, juicier and more complex, with roasted nut and woodsy spice notes in the mix too. It’s in a good place now, but it’s on its way to somewhere better.
