The nose is ripe and savoury with garriguey notes of the local fynbos and a distinct note of oregano. The palate is rounded and full of fruit with notes of wild honey often found in naturally fermented Chenin Blanc.

Cinsault is such a bright star in South Africa modern firmament. Crushed for flavour not colour, this 40 year old unirrigated bush vine wine sucks only from the rocks underground. Bright, expressive and gently savoury on the nose. Along with its blushing hue, the palate rewards with fresh pomegranate flavour and acidity, savoury gamey notes, and a bright, beating heart of cherry ripe fruit. Slightly chilled with pink duck, pink lamb or carpaccio of beef, this is a beautifully defined expression of South Africas most achingly fashionable varietal.

A beautiful and complex wine, that packs a big punch above its appellation. Fine bright golden in colour with aromas of fresh pear, apple and caramel. The palate weight is wonderful with a smooth minerality leading to rich and complex flavours of baked apples and custard, a hint of hazelnuts and honey followed by lemony acidity to lift the finish. Lovely length.

The bouquet was immensely full, rich and wide with flavors of�ripe pear, flowers and honey. Very fresh and youthful wine.

The youthful fruit combines with spice and bitter chocolate notes giving a wine of depth and personality with a firm, dry and savoury finish - great served with food, perhaps lightly chilled.

It is an intense and elegant wine, extremely pleasant, characterized by a complex bouquet in which notes of plum, liquorice, and tobacco stand out. Warm taste and great persistence at the end of the palate.
