From the folks at Perfetto in Italy comes this superb Lemon Gin. Distilled with a selection of classic botanicals, this gin is then infused with fresh lemons from the Sorrento coast bringing plenty of sweet, zesty flavour. Makes a great G&T, garnished with a wheel of lemon and a sprig of mint.

Bursting with sweet and zesty character comes this terrific Blood Orange Gin from Italian producer Perfetto. Distilled with an array of classic botanicals, the gin is then infused with the essential oils and peels of blood oranges giving it a marvellously Mediterranean feel. Serve with tonic or cloudy lemonade for a fabulously fruity sipper.

Glendalough Double Barrel is a single grain Irish whiskey, aged in a combination of bourbon and oloroso sherry casks. Sweet and creamy, with butterscotch and honey from the American oak and dried fruit from the Spanish.

Fresh and fruity notes jump out the glass to your nose with hints of pear, apple peel and a slight butterscotch. Sweet fruit explodes onto the palate which mellos to creamy malt, butterscotch and subtle and soft oaky flavours. Smooth and mellow finish.

To smell it is quite big and well-rounded. There are notes of chewy sultanas and Sherried peels, barley sugars and toasty cereals with petals and apple blossom. Today, tasting Grappa di Barbera, one seems to breathe the scents of a Monferrato wood, among wild dog rose flowers and the scent of ripe black cherries.

The liaison is intense and brings back the characteristics of two tenacious red vines that express the essence of the hills of the Alto Monferrato on which the aromas of their lands grow and concentrate.

Distilled in Trieste since 1884 from the pomace of a range of grape varieties, Grappa Julia is a favourite the world over.

To fully appreciate the extraordinary aromatic quality of this type of product, we reommend tasting it on its own. It may be used sparingly to lace coffee.
