This Gergenti Organic Frappato, made by organically grown grapes, embodies the unique charm of Sicily. Red ruby colour. The aroma is fresh and fruity with a scent of blueberries and red berries. The grapes are hand-picked in early August. After the harvest, the grapes are left to be macerated with their skins for 6 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After that the wine is aged in the bottle for another month.

Gently spicy and perfumed on the nose with a typically gamey complex palate which is long and flavoursome. A very traditional red Burgundy with real charm and substance.

Poised, yet complex nose with notes of honeysuckle, stone fruit and gentle toasty oak. The palate is beautifully textured, with an almost exotic note, evident yet perfectly integrated oak and ripe fruit. Complex and with a long toasty, citrus finish. Pronounced black cherry, cedar and spice aromas. The palate is supple yet richly-flavoured with layers of dark plum, bramble fruit and cherry supported by well-integrated tannins. Toasty notes, black pepper and dried fruit characters on the finish.

Colour is a deep tawny. Complex nutty aromas combined with hints of honey and figs. On the palate, rich mature fruit flavours, beautifully mellowed with a luscious long finish.

Granbazán Limousin shows that Albarino can be world class - not just when lees-aged, but also with careful oak maturation. The aromas explode out of the glass with ripe peach, melon and marzipan character. Though this richness carries on to the palate, there is fantastic tension and brightness on display too. Alongside all the fruits the wine has lightly spicy notes and a saline, refreshing finish.

This is a fabulous Gigondas, very powerful with ripe, weighty tannins, the whole aged in large oak foudres for that added patina. Open well in advance and preferably decant.

Made exclusively from hand-picked grapes, this Pinot Gris is golden and dense while the nose shows aromas of honey, white flowers and brioche. It is well-balanced with spicy aromas and a good length. The finish is fresh with lingering hints of liquorice. This Pinot Gris is a great match for pan-fried foie gras, roast venison, fish curries, fricassee of wild mushrooms and blue cheese.

Very dry, racy, and firm and yet opens up with lively jasmine, spicy ginger, white tea floral notes over a structured palate and intense, mineral finish. Feels like a drive through the luscious Golden Bay.
