White Wine

te Pā Reserve Collection Seaside Sauvignon Blanc is a generous and fruity white wine displaying a nose of tropical flavours as well as the herbal flavours we know and love from New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. This wine belongs to the te Pā Reserve collection, showcasing some of the estate’s finest wines. One other notable example is the Hillside Sauvignon Blanc, a counterpart of Seaside – so called due to the locations of their vineyards. Despite being vinified in exactly the same way as its Hillside counterpart, Seaside is strikingly different. These wines are a brilliant illustration of the importance of terroir to New Zealand winemaking.

This Pinot Noir possesses a complex and attractive spectrum of aromas of red fruits, liquorice, violets, fresh tobacco, and musk. The palate displays classic Pinot Noir characters of cherry, cola, and cranberry with layers of five spice, cinnamon, and aniseed. The new oak provides some subtle coffee and mocha notes. The primary fruit is enveloped by fine, chalky tannins.

Elegant and delicate with notes of lime, white peach, exotic and floral hints of sage and hawthorn. Extremely savory with a pleasantly mineral finish.

Perfumed with nettle ripe tropical fruits which are also evident on the palate along with limey flavours and a rich minerality - classic Marlborough Sauvignon. The wine is sappy fresh, clean and delicious.

Refreshingly unoaked, citrus and white peach flavours combine with a zesty fresh acidity and a clean, bright and linear mineral finish. The judicious addition of Langhorne Creek Chardonnay adds palate, weight and texture. Ultimately, this is a bright expression of a Victorian Chardonnay.

With the faintest whiff of biscuity oak this bright, tangy Barossa Chardonnay is an absolute delight. It has that classical Barossa charm, elegance, poise, tang and naggingly more-ish elusive something-or-other which makes one wonder why there isnt more Australian Chardonnay. The 205 enjoys all of the notes above with added texture and breadth making this vintage foodier still.

A classic regional style, this wine has intensely aromatic gooseberry and passionfruit characters. The palate is rich and full with a long finish.

Yellow straw colour with greenish tinges. Refined subtle aroma. Recollections of honey and acacia blossoms and fresh fruits, such as pears and apples. Incredibly pleasant taste, full-bodied and smooth with well-balanced acidity. Typical aftertaste of almonds.

This bouquet is characterized with elegance and is expressive, offering aromas of white-fleshed fruits, such as pear and apple, complemented by floral notes and a hint of minerality. The approach to winemaking aims to preserve these delicate nuances, resulting in a rich and engaging aromatic profile on the finish.

A rich yet fresh Chardonnay. White fruit and citrus with hints of toast and vanilla with an exceptional finish.

Crystalline bright, with a barely perceptible yellow color. The nose displays distinct mineral notes that verge on metallic, along with rapidly alternating layers of intriguing vegetal aromas such as chili pepper, tomato leaf, and lime, and the attractive mouthfeel features the liveliest acidity seen in years. In short, an intensely aromatic wine with a full flavored palate.

The name Milmanda refers to the historic castle that is situated close to the vineyard. On the nose, the wine offers aromas of ripe fruit, citrus, and floral notes, along with hints of vanilla and toast from the oak aging. The palate is full-bodied, with a creamy texture and well-integrated acidity, which balances the richness of the wine. Flavours of ripe apple, pear, and citrus are complemented by subtle oak and mineral notes, leading to a long, persistent finish.

The wine itself is pale yellow and fragrant on the nose, offering perfumed and citrus notes coupled with fruit aromas (white peach) over a touch of minerality characteristic of the terroir. Familia Torres San Valentin Parellada was first made by Miguel Torres as a Valentines present for his wife. It is made from the Parellada grape grown in the more mountainous, cooler regions of Penedes and other vineyard areas. The off-dry style brings out the floral aromas and ripe fruit character.

Fresh citrus aromas lead on to a bright and textural palate with peachy fruit and notes of galia melon, a refreshing saline edge and mouth-watering zesty finish.

On the nose are lively citrus fruit, green apple and delicate white-flower scents. The palate feels crisp and clean, with flavours of lemon, pear and a subtle hint of almond. The finish is enlivened by bright acidity, light minerality and a pleasant lingering note.

Fresh zesty nose with apricot and orchard fruit aromas, and a hint of white flower and citrus. The palate has minerality and texture with ripe stone fruit and grapefruit characters, refreshing lemon citrus acidity, a touch of salinity, and a crisp finish.

A fresh, vibrant nose with subtle citrus and honey aromas complemented by lightly herbal notes. The palate is focused and textural with ripe apricot characters offset by mineral notes and a taut saline finish.

A bright, pale gold colour, notable for its strong bouquet of wild flowers, honey and musk with hints of bitter almonds. Medium sweet flavour, fresh with a gentle after taste of ripe fruit.

Floral, citrus and gentle tropical aromas lead on to a palate which is deliciously off-dry with flavours of ripe melon and sherbet lemon acidity. The finish is refreshing with a classic spritz.

Bright citrus aromas and a fresh, lively palate with ripe, limey flavours, textural stone fruit and an appealing softness but still the balancing minerality characteristic of this variety.

This crisp and refreshing white wine has flavours of stone and tropical fruit and ripe apple.

This Viognier presents rich aromas of citrus, orange peel and dried apricot, fresh pears and white peaches, plus hints of candied fruit. With floral honeyed and citrus flavours combining with chalky minerality, this is typical of Limari and really gives Viognier purity and a bright structure.

A ripe yet restrained, complex nose showing quince, white peach and yellow apple, with a hint of fennel. The palate has great concentration of honeyed, lightly floral fruit, perfectly balanced by taut acidity and minerality. The wine lingers with hints of ripe apricot and honey and will no doubt age gracefully for many years.

The nose is nuanced and fleeting with delicate aromas of honey, white flowers, fennel and fresh citrus. Layered and textural with taut acidity and a saline bite balancing the concentrated, lightly honeyed fruit. A richly flavoured, complex wine of restraint and elegance with a steely, mineral core. Best decanted before serving.
