Red Wine

Plump notes of blackberry, cassis, and plum intertwine with hints of blueberry and blackcurrant, creating a richly layered aroma. Subtle nuances of earth and spice emerge, hinting at peppery characteristics and perhaps a touch of smokiness.

Fuller than Pinot Noir from Burgundy, it has a warm, rich nose with aromas of black cherry compote. The palate is nicely balanced with an exciting, savoury streak provided by ripe, tasty tannins.

A pretty, translucent ruby colour with earthy, strawberry fruit and a light pepperyness on the nose. Mouthwatering acidity balances the moderate gentle ripe tannins and elegant, pure, somewhat savoury red fruit.

Perfumed, lifted and bright, this juicy Tannat is dark but ruby-red alive with plummy joy, walnuts, spices, and young mushrooms. The palate has a smooth structure, with good density, with soft smoky aromas of blueberries, blackberries, and raisins. A clear, unadorned expression shaped by precise cellar work.

A vibrant nose of plum, cherry, violet, sweet spice and dried herbs. The palate has lots of fresh fruit flavours, including sour cherry and plum with refreshing acidity. The youthful fruit combines with spice and bitter chocolate notes giving a wine of depth and personality with a firm, dry and savoury finish - great served with food, perhaps lightly chilled.

It is an intense and elegant wine, extremely pleasant, characterized by a complex bouquet in which notes of plum, liquorice, and tobacco stand out. Warm taste and great persistence at the end of the palate.

Rich red fruit aromas - cherry, ripe raspberry and a dusting of warm spice - with a full-bodied palate packed with lovely pure fruit flavours, enhanced by the well-judged oak and smooth tannins on the finish.

Aromas of bramble fruit, black cherry and a hint of sweet spice. The palate is richly flavoured with plum and wild cherry fruit, a hint of dried figs, and ripe tannins balanced by fresh acidity.

Cherry plum flavours with smoked cedar and mint top notes, but as it breathes it gets meatier, juicier and more complex, with roasted nut and woodsy spice notes in the mix too. It’s in a good place now, but it’s on its way to somewhere better.

The nose is inviting with wonderful redcurrant, plum and blackberry aromas with hints of woody spice and pepper. The palate has more concentrated fruit: blackberry, redcurrant and tart blackcurrants with good structure and some smokiness from time spent in oak.

Ruby red in colour, it is characterised by its fresh and mineral notes, with hints of black cherry and wild berries. In the mouth, the evident but delicate tannins frame a discreet sapidity, describing at best its excellent body.

The Feudo Maccari Saia is made from selected plots of bush vines that are mostly 30-40 years old and are grown on south-facing higher ground where the calcium-rich soil gives greater delicacy and perfume. The grapes undergo 20 days maceration with regular punching-down of the cap. Then the wine is matured for 0-4 months in French barriques and aged in bottle for 6 months prior to release.

This red wine is obtained from a selection of the native Raboso Piave grapes grown on Parcel #92 vineyards in the Carboncine Roncade area. Long maceration, ageing in chestnut and Allier oak for 48 months. Some bunches are withered in the grape-drying loft for 3 months and skilfully added to the blend. Final bottle ageing for 2 months. Due to the typicality of the soil and the specific winemaking techniques deployed, at Santome they consider our Raboso ready to drink only after a long ageing period of 5 years (4 years in the barrel and in the bottle). Only produced in the best years.

This croquant Cinsault is bright and deliciously enjoyable. Unoaked, vibrant redcurrant and raspberry fruit with a wild, delicately tannic herbaceous edge.

Aromas of dark fruits and light spice. Plum and bramble fruit balanced by toasty characters on the structured palate. The tannins are nicely woven in, there is a chunky texture but good fruit intesity which balances this wine out nicely.
