Knob Creek Single Barrel is a potent combination of caramel, honey, cinnamon, and allspice with enough vanilla, wood, and nuttiness to complement the sweetness. Nose Spicy and rich with notes of vanilla and toffee apples. Hints of lime and cinnamon too. Palate Dark, rich palate. Thick with molasses and tar, and a barrage of cinnamon, golden syrup, nutmeg and charred oak.

The characteristic sweetness of the liqueur makes it soft and pleasant on the palate, while the aromatic and persistent taste. With predominant notes of juniper, makes it suitable to be served smooth or mixed in trendy cocktails like the KranebeTonic.

Palate Very thick and rich. A massive mouthful of malt and Sherry with good fruity sweetness, but also a wonderful sweetness. Big, powerful peat and oak. Finish Long, spicy finish, figs, dates, peat smoke, vanilla.

Maturation takes place in oak casks and this delivers a treacle-deep flavour, pungent in molasses, toffee and nutmeg. The flavour is fruity with Christmas cake notes and espresso coffee intensity. Mild clove spice ensures a traditional rum complexity to Lambs, making it one of the most popular dark rums around.

This is not a Liqueur - it is a full strength spirit that tastes divine of roses and Turkish delight. It is sweet and needs to be balanced to be enjoyed at its best. Neat over ice with a squeeze of lime, or as a Laniquetini with gin, good mixers are tonic with cucumber, tonic with lime, or Fentimans jasmine.

An inviting mix of sweet floral and berry tones come through on the nose. They continue onto the palate, where sumptuous elderflower and rose come through. The finish is long and deep and complex.

On the nose a rich peaty smoke with slight saline seaweed. To taste the initial smoky nature is in the forefront with a seaweed undertone, a surprising sweetness that lingers in the finish. To some extent this is the quintessential Islay malt.
