Palate Sweet, malty, with gentle peat and a mellow, silky texture. Vanilla fudge, peaches and cream, and subtle toasted oak follow. Finish Ginger, malt, nutty nougat, and maybe a little grapefruit zest.
Toffee popcorn wafts out of the glass, with some sweet spice from the oak and hint of candied orange peel. Some fresh lemon zestiness brightens things up, along with that classic Auchentoshan grassiness. Soft and silky mouthfeel, with pronounced coconut and toffee notes. The sweet spice continues on to the palate, but no hard edges here. Very easy drinking. Sweet spice and toffee, with a lingering citrus-tinged freshness.
The aroma is rich with notes of tropical fruits, namely passion fruit, and creamy toffee. Sweet vanilla forms a creamy palate with notes of apples and mangoes with a hint of orange in the background. The finish lingers with a vanilla focussed character.
Gristy, supple nuttiness intertwined with spices. Honeyed sultanas and grapes. Hugely inviting. Sweet with good body. The bourbon characters develop; gentle spice with a little vanilla, a hint of balancing peat lurking quietly in the substrata. Dried fruit too, combining with nuts, nutmeg, cinnamon, back into the bourbon notes - so well integrated. Spicy, slightly drying, still sweet.
This amber gold whisky has been matured in a mix of sherry, American virgin oak, ex-bourbon casks and has an aroma of vanilla and toffee, candied citrus fruits, and dried fruit, all balanced with a gentle hint of clove. On the palate, experience sweet berry notes, sumptuous vanilla, rich honey, and sweet dried fruit.
Clean and fresh, with heather honey, pears, a touch of toffee and a soft floral note. Bright and fruity, but also rich, with notes of steamed syrup pudding and sponge cake, with a little cinnamon and nutmeg. Just enough spice to match the fruit. Lovely balance.

A crisp, light nose offering up notes of toffee apples, hints of dried flowers and biscuity barley. Balanced, biscuit-laden palate with a core of thick, creamy malt. Just a hint of spice and the vaguest whisper of smoke really bring a great deal of complexity. A slightly sweet, malty finish.
Fresh and fruity notes jump out the glass to your nose with hints of pear, apple peel and a slight butterscotch. Sweet fruit explodes onto the palate which mellos to creamy malt, butterscotch and subtle and soft oaky flavours. Smooth and mellow finish.
To smell it is quite big and well-rounded. There are notes of chewy sultanas and Sherried peels, barley sugars and toasty cereals with petals and apple blossom. A touch of fudge and gentle wisps of smoke. The palate is full and rich with notes of chewy, tannic oak. Manuka honey and walnut with Coxs apples and orange peels. Cut herbs - fennel and spearmint. Long and dry with a spicy oak note.
Very clean and fresh, with notes of grass, freshly cut apples and pear drops, enriched by a rich toffee character. Slight floral note, with menthol and custard-tart notes. The gentle fruitiness continues on to the palate, with pear the dominant note, accompanied by a refreshing mint. Very soft texture and mouthfeel with no rough edges. Easy to drink. Soft, fruity and whistle-clean.

A little weightier on the palate, with honey and malt, banana bread and subtle sweet spices. Clean and well balanced. The honeyed fruit fades softly, and the finish is whistle-clean.
