Tequila

Don Julio Reposado Tequila is a 100% agave offering which spends eight months maturing in bourbon casks. It has a depth of flavour which is largely down to this maturation process and both almond and coconut notes come through alongside subtle spice and creamy vanilla in the nose.

Hints of green wood, zesty grapefruit and apple peel, with lots of distinct agave. Manuka honey and roasted agave notes, balanced by a hint of lemon, grapefruit, a little rosemary and continuing spice. Warming and spiced, with more of those citrus and agave flavours persisting.

Nose Light and floral, with agave and notes of cracked black pepper. Palate Agave up front, with citrus zest, lime, vanilla and peppery warmth on the mid-palate. Finish Classically spicy. Overall Well rounded and enjoyable.

An exquisite Añejo offering from Mijenta, produced from 100% blue weber agave this Tequila is treated to a minimum of 18 months in barrels before bottling. Not just one kind of barrel either. In fact, four different wood varieties are used – American white oak, French oak, French acacia casks, and cherry barrels.

A sustainably-made artisanal Tequila from Mijenta, made by Maestra Tequilera Ana Maria Romero. Elegant and complex, the palate offers notes of cantaloupe, honey and cinnamon that linger in the finish.

A small-batch Reposado Tequila from Mijenta that is created with environmentally sustainable methods and is aged in a combination of American oak, French oak and French acacia casks for up to six months. Aromas of roasted agave, honey, vanilla and cacao nibs fill the nose, complemented by notes of bergamot, honey, vanilla, orange blossom and dried fruits throughout the palate.

The initial taste of Creme Anglaise hits the palate with a continuation of vanilla and dried flowers. On the finish, a hint of roasted pepper with a hot white pepper fade. An exellent value for money Tequila that would fit well with mixers or in Cocktails.

Notes of cooked agave, grapefruit, orange, vanilla and fresh wood help make this full-bodied tequila. Try it with grapefruit juice and dry sparkling wine, garnished with a grapefruit slice and rosemary sprig.

Olmeca Reposado has sweet citrus notes of candied orange with complementary tones of cooked agave and a lingering vanilla oak on the finish. Perfect in the classic Paloma. Olmeca Reposado is aged for around 5 months in oak casks before bottling.

Fresh and clean. Cinnamon, sandalwood, grassy herbaceousness, rich vanilla fudge, gingerbread and black pepper spice with faint chocolate brownie, a touch of zesty lemon and Galia melon.

Smooth from the first sip, you can taste the smokiness of the oak used in the maturation process and light fresh agave also comes through quickly. As the flavour builds you ll enjoy notes of citrus and smooth honey, leading to a sweet and short aftertaste of honeyed vanilla and citrus zest.

Slightly caramel, vanilla sweet palate with spicy (cinnamon), chargrilled peppers, a light peppery tingle and rounded, balanced vegetal earthiness.

Tropical fruit with wafts of banana and heaps of pineapple, good smoky notes of charred, caramelised fruit and toasted oak, wafts of vanilla, and agave minerality.

Vanilla fudge and coffee rise through well-roasted agave and fragrant tobacco. A little milk chocolate lingers below. Palate In a rich and creamy mouth feel comes mixed peels, honey-dipped apricot and dark chocolate. Earthy, toasty agave and a little wood spice are present throughout.

A Reposado Tequila from Rooster Rojo that has been aged for at least two months in French oak barrels before bottling, creating aromas of roasted agave, lively ripe fruits and peppery oak fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla, caramel, aromatic agave and soft spice throughout the palate.

This blanco Tequila from Pueblo Viejo is made with 100% agave at San Matias, one of the oldest distilleries in Jalisco, Mexico, over 130 years old. Bottled straight from the still, the unaged Tequila is full of robust agave flavours, certainly ideal for cocktails.

An extra Anejo tequila from the San Matias, aged for at least 36 months in American and French oak casks. Very much suited to enjoying neat and savouring the flavours which arise from this rather uncommon maturation for a tequila.

The aroma is of fresh herbal notes, complemented by green pepper and with a soft citric finish. On the palate it is sweet and slightly smoky with a final soft honey flavour.
