Made with 100% Japanese white rice, the name Haku means white in Japanese. The word can also be read as brilliant, a tribute to the craft of mastering a clear, clean tasting, and luminous vodka. Filtered through bamboo charcoal, Haku Vodka has an unparalleled soft, round, and subtly sweet taste.

The nose is crisp and fresh with notes of marzipan, citrus, allspice, ground ginger, a little lime and gentle oak. The palate is clean and rounded with notes of citrus, vanilla and oak, a little spice and lemon and a delicate nutty note.

Nose Sweet and buttery with intermingled notes of toffee, honeycomb and coffee, a little spice and dried peels with notes of orchard fruits and biscuits. Palate Full and rich with notes of cigar box, particularly the cedar wood thereof, guava and banana leaf with more toffee. Finish Fruity, creamy finish.

Nose Complex, slightly honeyed nose with hints of vanilla cream, buttery toffee, cinnamon, cedar and sandalwood. Palate Thick, smooth palate. Good caramel-like entry with soft fruits, spiced oak, manuka honey and cinnamon. Finish Citrus and vanilla on the finish.

Clean and dry without being in any way astringent. The complexity of the nose comes through in the taste; citrus and juniper with a subtle lingering finish of cool refreshing cucumber and rose. In addition to the traditional juniper infusion, Hendricks uses Bulgarian rose and cucumber to add flavour.

Woody and nutty, with a little sweetness. Develops rounded floral notes, with elements of berries, vanilla spice and plenty of oak later on.

Perception of a strong spicy cognac note, tantalising the lips and palate with its distinct peppery flavor intertwined with a hint of chocolate. A wave of warmth grows, crests and then breaks. A robust presence, full and voluptuous, is felt.

Melted butter and caramelised dates. A hint of fragrant sandalwood develops into warming, oak-y spice.
