Bright, expressive and gently savoury on the nose. Along with its blushing hue, the palate rewards with fresh pomegranate flavour and acidity, savoury gamey notes, and a bright, beating heart of cherry ripe fruit. Slightly chilled with pink duck, pink lamb or carpaccio of beef, this is a beautifully defined expression of South Africas most achingly fashionable varietal.

Lovely ripe cassis fruit and plenty of it with some warm woodspice, and cigar box. Very approachable but still proper claret. The palate is medium-bodied and structured with round, warm fruit and a velvety finish.

This Gergenti Organic Frappato, made by organically grown grapes, embodies the unique charm of Sicily. Red ruby colour. The aroma is fresh and fruity with a scent of blueberries and red berries. The grapes are hand-picked in early August. After the harvest, the grapes are left to be macerated with their skins for 6 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After that the wine is aged in the bottle for another month.

This Negroamaro shows intense nose of blackberry and plum notes. On the palate is it round, well-balanced, with a persistent and long finish. Ideal with red meat based dishes or mature cheese.

The grape varieties used include 80% Sangiovese, 5% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and fermentation takes place in stainless steel with 2/6 days of skins contact. This is followed by 9 months in barriques and tonneaux and a further 3-6 months of bottle ageing. Brolio successfully matches the superior drinkability that defines Chianti Classico in its young version with a full, complex structure, which makes this wine excellent in its category.

A rhapsody of red - berried fruit with spice and toasted notes.

Aromas of ripe black cherry, damson and toasty spice. A rich palate with plum and sour cherry fruit, juicy acidity, and notes of dark chocolate on the finish.

The smell is ethereal, complex, with black cherry and wood fruits aromas. The taste is round, elegant, bodied and velvety, the final is persistent and spicy.

Made from parcels of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan grown in Costières de Nîmes on red pebble and limestone terroir. Fermentation is kept short to preserve the generous fruit flavours. All the varieties are vinified separately to give Guillaume full flexibility when it comes to blending. The tannins from these sun-ripened grapes soften quickly, so very little ageing is required to keep it supple and more-ish.

Cherry plum flavours with smoked cedar and mint top notes, but as it breathes it gets meatier, juicier and more complex, with roasted nut and woodsy spice notes in the mix too. It’s in a good place now, but it’s on its way to somewhere better.
