Conviviale Montepulciano d Abruzzo is an intense wine with cherry, ripe plum fruit aromas and warm, earthy spice and the palate is densely packed with morello cherry, cassis and bramble fruit flavours. Fermentation took place in small batches and after malolactic fermentation the wine was transferred to Adrias cellars and matured in a combination of large Slavonian oak casks and French oak barriques for six to eight months. This integrates all the fruit, acidity and tannins and adds a softness overall.
