The Straits Sauvignon Blanc

Color: deep ruby red, clear and bright. Bouquet: very pronounced fruit. Notes of redcurrants, cherries and plums that give freshness to the wine and meld with mineral, ethereal, spicy and vanilla-like hints. Flavor: rich, fresh and well-balanced fruit. The concentration of the dry extract is notable and admirably set off by considerable tannic structure, very lively acidity and a level of alcohol that ensure good ageing potential. The retro-olfactory sensations echo those on the nose. This is a long, fresh, concentrated and very elegant wine. Suited for ageing: it has a long future ahead of it.

Ripe, appealing aromas of plums, blackberries, and cherry and a hint of milk chocolate. Rich and spicy on the palate with dark fruit, balancing acidity and soft tannins.

Gently perfumed, ripe melon fruit and fresh citrus on the nose. The palate is ripe but retains excellent freshness, balanced by a touch of white pepper spice that is very typical of its grape variety. Deliciously long, the finish shows bright fruit and a clean, saline/mineral edge.

Ripe stone fruit aromas with preserved lemon characters and floral notes. The palate has bright citrus peel and grapefruit, an appealing texture and minerality, fresh acidity and a gently savoury finish.
