The winemaking process is rigorously controlled, using grapes from their own vineyards to ensure quality. In 2018, Santomè achieved accreditation from SQNPI, the sustainable quality mark. In 1971 Antonio Spinazzè first brought 4 hectares in Vazzola, supplying the grapes to Cantina Sociale di Valdobbiadene (co-op winery). This expanded in the 1980s with his son, Armando, bought 28 hectares on the island of Papadopoli becoming the single largest supplier to Cantina Sociale di Valdobbiadene. After qualifying as an Oenologist, Alan and his brother William decided to make their own wine, Buying 30 hectares of land in Roncade, the winery was completed in 2016.
