Westerhall No. 5 is a lighter bodied, silky smooth and refreshing rum. A subtle blend of flavours with delicate hints of sweet honey, buttery caramel, custard cream, oaky smoke and hints of aromatic allspice.
Dark cherry, chocolate raisins and a slight floral perfume on the nose. Very dark chocolate and savoury oak on the palate. Densely structured and full bodied right through the finish.
Spearmint and menthol lead on the nose, with an herbal bouquet including thyme and sage as well as white pepper. Candied orange peels, bitter, and menthol along with cola and sassafras on the palate.

The wine is superbly balanced on the palate with some citrus fruit and honeyed character underpinned by very fine, flinty acidity.
