Rose
Once a drink only fashionable in the hottest of summers, now a go to favourite for many people. From bone dry Provence to the sweet US styles, there is a Rose for everyone! Rose can be made in many ways; the most common being a short period of maceration to extract some colour and flavour from the skins. Saigneé method uses the bleed off wine (usually discarded) to make a delicate style of rose with a higher intensity of flavour. Vin Gris is the method of immediately pressing red grapes to make a very delicate pink.
