Fresh aromas of fruit and flower aromatics mingle with the spicy and smokey notes from the barrels. On the palate it feels plump fresh and mineral, with spicy, smokey fruit.
Its sourced from parcels from four Beaune Premier Cru vineyards which are vinified separately with each component spending around nine months in French oak in the cellars of the Chateau de Beaune before being blended to make the final wine. It has a nose of ripe white fruits with candied citrus aromas and a hint of brioche and ginger bread. On the palate there's a restrained creaminess, subtle oak, and hints of succulent dried fruits and it signs off with a lingering and moreish suggestion of vanilla.
