Fee Brothers Orange Bitters

Rich gold in colour with intense nutty aromas. On the palate nutty oak combines with fresh fruit characters with a smooth and balanced mouthfeel.

On the nose a rich peaty smoke with slight saline seaweed. To taste the initial smoky nature is in the forefront with a seaweed undertone, a surprising sweetness that lingers in the finish. To some extent this is the quintessential Islay malt.

Palate: Up front, it s lightly sweet with an agave woodiness. Mid-palate, it is light-to-medium-bodied and bright. The agave comes forward along with orange and lemon notes. At the back of the palate, the bright citrus notes continue, with a follow-up of artichoke, grass, and a bite of oak.
