The classic region of Sparkling wine from France, home to the most expensive Sparkling wine in the world. There is a variety of grapes allowed in Champagne; the main three varieties are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. All Champagne must be created via the ‘traditional method (Méthode traditionnelle)’. This is incredibly labour intensive and produces some of the finest bubbles around!

Bright pink colour with a light orange tint. A powerful bouquet with ripe red fruit, such as raspberry and wild strawberry, almost jam-like, revealing hints of violet and rose petal. Full, textured and rich in the mouth, with a surprising light and fresh finish.
A shiny ruby colour with deep scarlet hints. Aromatics of red berries, blackberries and blackcurrant combine with strawberry. Mandarin orange with traces of saffron lead on the palate with more juicy fruits on the mid palate,spiced and smokey notes leading to a long finish.
On the nose, the champagne is dominated by white flowers, green apple, brioche and a trace of minerality. On the palate there are notes of stone fruits, a certain nuttiness and a hint of honey supporting the freshness of the acidity.
An especially open and expressive nose begins with notes of dried fruit, cocoa, almond and coconut. Allowed to breathe, notes of yellow fruits such as Mirabelle plum and eau de vie add complexity to the nose which, though young, is rich and promising. The palate is exceedingly fresh.
Good brilliance with sustained effervescence and a very persistent foam. At first the nose is delicate, fresh and fruity, filled with white-fleshed fruits (pears, Bosc apples), apricots, as well as hazelnuts and fresh almonds. Several floral and spicy notes add an extra hint of complexity.
