Its a blonde bombshell of capsicum, guava and butterscotch on the nose with waxy, textured, almond, spicy and rich flavours throughout your mouth.

A floral nose of jasmine, lime zest, waxed lemons over crushed marble. The palate is bright, taut and citrussy, the note of citrus oils adding to the palate weight. Its crisp but has plenty of body and a long, nervy finish.

Fresh apricot in hue, delightfully almost equally furry on the palate. It�s at once marmalade and marble being all rich, sinewy, aromatic, and textural. Finely grained for a skin-contact wine, it should not be served too cold.

A nose of toasted hazelnuts, cold butter and a slight struck-match lift over classic varietal stone-fruit notes. The palate is a delicious combo of hazelnuts, basil leaves, creme-fraiche acidity and the Mendoza-clone's signature clementine tang with a taut, structured finish.

Refreshingly unoaked, citrus and white peach flavours combine with a zesty fresh acidity and a clean, bright and linear mineral finish. The judicious addition of Langhorne Creek Chardonnay adds palate, weight and texture. Ultimately, this is a bright expression of a Victorian Chardonnay.

With the faintest whiff of biscuity oak this bright, tangy Barossa Chardonnay is an absolute delight. It has that classical Barossa charm, elegance, poise, tang and naggingly more-ish elusive something-or-other which makes one wonder why there isnt more Australian Chardonnay. The 205 enjoys all of the notes above with added texture and breadth making this vintage foodier still.

A lifted nose showing citrus freshness, the palate continues with fresh citrus and concentrated grapefruit flavours. The palate is light to medium bodied with a perfect balance of fruit and soft acid.
