Amarone Tedeschi

This classic northern Italian red has a complex aroma of spice, black forest-fruits and leather that open up if decanted, and last well on the long finish. Based in the village of Pedemonte di Valpolicella, in the hills north-west of Verona, the Tedeschi family operate from recently renovated cellar to which a state-of-the-art drying loft has not long been added, for grapes that will make the Amarone.
